Payment

I charge $100 per visit, and this visit generally lasts an hour or more and involves multiple needle sets.  The amount and type of needling is, of course, adjusted to the patient's specific needs.  My goal is to make acupuncture financially accessible to as many patients as possible and to provide a service that patients feel is worth the cost.

In my medical acupuncture practice I do not participate with any insurance company. Though it is starting to improve, insurance coverage for acupuncture is still generally poor, and participation in insurance plans imposes a large administrative burden. A direct-pay arrangement means that I spend my time treating patients rather than doing insurance paperwork and therefore you pay for the patient care that is important to you rather than the paperwork that is not. It allows me to remain more focused on you while keeping costs down.

I accept cash or check.  You may be able to pay for your treatment using HSA/FSA funds; check with your plan.
